Worshipping Together
What is your church's mission in worshipping together corporately?
Corporate worship at Atlanta Road Alliance Church is the heart-felt, joyful, public loving of God together. Worship is the extravagant, open enjoyment of God as the fountain of life. And therefore it is a public declaration that God is more to be desired than all the pleasures of this world.
What goals unite you together as a congregation in worship?
Where can I serve in corporate worship gatherings?
WORSHIP TEAMS
These teams consist of musicians and singers that lead the congregation in corporate worship on Sunday. Each team has an assigned leader to lead the team and congregation. Teams rotate with the choir every other week according to the quarterly schedule.
CHOIR
The choir consists of those that sing alto, soprano, bass, or tenor. The choir assists in leading worship in a schedule that rotates with worship teams on Sunday. In addition, the choir leads a
Christmas and Easter Cantata every year.
AUDIO/VISUAL TECHNICIAN
Audio/Visual Technicians play an important part in corporate worship on Sunday. Technicians are needed to monitor the sound board, control the powerpoint, or coordinate video and other media-related needs.
MUSIC
In addition to playing on worship teams, musicians can serve in a number of other ways. These ways include playing the prelude, offertory, postlude, or special music.
FRONTLINE
In conjunction with corporate worship on Sunday, Frontline Ministries play an integral part. This ministry consists of providing a warm welcome and friendly “face” to all those attending Atlanta Road Alliance Church on Sunday morning. Areas to serve in this ministry include: Greeters (at the door and in the hallways), Ushers, Information Center Assistants, and Hospitality (those that help prepare snack and drink during the fellowship time).
