Wide Shoots (Kid's Church)
We offer a kids worship service for children called Wide Shoots (Kids' Church) on Sunday mornings in addition to Sunday School's Deep Roots. Wide Shoots is committed to helping children ages 4 through grade 4 become lifelong worshipers of God. During each service, the children offer praise to God through songs, join together to pray for special needs, listen to a message from God’s Word, and participate in an activity that illustrates their worship.
KidStuf103
KidStuf103 exists to partner with parents. We believe that parents are ultimately responsible for the spiritual development of their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). We also recognize that parents have a whole lot more time with their kids than anyone at church. Because of this, we believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. We believe that it is our role to partner with parents by providing a plan that will give them the tools they need to lead their kids spiritually. KidStuf103 is where kids bring their parents to learn together about God! It is a monthly, 45-minute, fun, interactive, multi-media shared experience designed for families.
Sprouts (Nursery)
The nursery ministry is open to all children from newborns up through age 3, and is available during all Sunday morning worship services at Atlanta Road Alliance Church. It is our desire to come alongside parents in nurturing the faith of their children. Our responsibility is to model and to teach truth in an attitude of frequent prayer.
Significant ministry to children begins in our youngest nurseries. Here a foundation of prayer begins for your child, as the godly men and women working in the nurseries are encouraged to "pray without ceasing" for the Lord's work in the hearts of these little ones while they are in our care.
This pattern of prayer and instruction continues to develop in our oldest nurseries, by building a biblical vocabulary and helping your child see a great God through Bible stories they can understand!
Volunteering
We are always seeking additional volunteers to love our little ones. Out of love and concern for the nursery children and youth in our care, all of our volunteers go through an application process which includes a background check. If you would like to volunteer please contact the church office.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is held every summer to lead children to live a life with a singleminded allegiance to Jesus Christ and His Word. During each action packed Vacation Bible School, the children learn life changing truth from God’s Word, memorize the verses of the Word of God, and participate in activities.
